Transfer between Terminals: Terminals 1 and 2 are in adjoining buildings and are connected internally. Terminal 3 is in a separate building, within walking distance.

Driving Directions: From the airport, the N-340 leads to Fuengirola (south-west of the airport) and Málaga (north-east of the airport). Once in Málaga, the N-331 leads north to Córdoba. The airport is also accessible from the E-15, which leads to the coast.

Car Parking: Car parks are available outside both terminals; both offer short-term parking. Both covered and outdoor parking is available in the car park outside Terminal 2, whilst long-term parking (more than four days) is available in the Terminal 1 car park.


Public Transport: Rail: There are local trains to Málaga and Fuengirola. The train station is located opposite Terminal 2. Road: Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminals. Taxi ranks are located outside Terminal 1 Arrivals and Terminal 2 Departures. Bus: Tourist shuttle buses and public bus service run to Málaga and can be caught outside Terminal 1 Arrivals and Terminal 2 Departures. There is also a bus service to Marbella that operates daily from both terminals.

Information and Help Desks: Airport information desks (tel: (0)95 204 8804) can be found in Arrivals at both terminals and in Departures in Terminal 2. The multi-lingual staff wear mint green jackets for easy identification. Airlines also have information desks in both Arrivals and Departures.

Airport Facilities: Money and communications: There is a bank in Arrivals in Terminal 2, as well as several ATMs and post boxes. Bureaux de change are available at the bank, in the baggage reclaim halls in both terminals, and in the Terminal 2 Departures lounge. Eating and drinking: There are bars, restaurants and fast-food outlets, which can be found in the Centro Plaza in Terminal 1. Bars and cafés are also available in the Centro Comercial in Departures on the second floor of Terminal 2. Shopping: A variety of shops, including a pharmacy, can be found in the Central Plaza in Terminal 1. Many more shops, including duty-free, are available in the Centro Comercial in Departures on the second floor of Terminal 2. Luggage: There is no left-luggage facility at the airport. There is a lost property office in Terminal 1. Other facilities: There is a medical service, pharmacy, oratory, and exhibition area, as well as travel agencies.

Conference and Business Facilities: There is no business centre at the airport, although there are three VIP lounges with telephone and fax facilities. The Costa del Sol VIP Lounge is situated in Terminal 2 (tel: (0)952 048 823) and can be adapted for meetings and conferences. The Europa VIP Lounge (tel: (0)952 048 854) is situated in Terminal 2 and is equipped with telephone and fax facilities, as well as TV, newspapers and complimentary drinks and snacks.

Disabled Facilities: Airlines provide assistance to disabled passengers at the airport. There are parking spaces for disabled badge holders in the car parks.
